What are the common widths of curtain fabric laminating machine?
Divided into three categories: narrow-width stock, standard household curtain main width, and extra-wide fabric for commercial projects, measured in mm:
- 1600 (1.6m)
- 1800 (1.8m)
Suitable for: sheer curtains, narrow-width drapes, small sample orders, and sporadic replenishments; not intended for main production lines.
Compatible with standard 2.8m fixed-height curtain fabrics on the market, with reserved allowances for trimming and hemming; single panel can be directly used for regular ceiling height curtains. Standard wide-width fabric commonly supplied by home textile manufacturers.
Highly versatile, compatible with 2.8m and 2.6m fabrics, featuring ample side trimming allowance and high tolerance for misalignment, making it the primary choice for most curtain Laminating Machines.
- 3000 (3.0m)
- 3200 (3.2m)
Designed for looms with a native 3.2m width, this curtain fabric eliminates the need for seams on high windows in hotels, office buildings, and large villas. It allows full-width lamination in one go, making it ideal for large-scale projects.
Effective lamination width of the equipment = maximum fabric width of raw material + 80–120 mm trimming allowance
Example: Raw material standard: 2.8m curtain fabric → select ≥2.9m, directly specify 3.0m/3.2m machine models;
For regular 2.8m fabric mass production, the 3000mm curtain fabric laminating machine offers the best cost-performance ratio and is preferred.

Main: 2200, 2400; Large engineering order: 3400.
Standard 1800/2200/2400; small manufacturers mostly use 2200.
Common custom sizes available: 1800, 2200, and 2400 mm.

- Do not precisely match the fabric width without leaving a trimming allowance; continuous production will easily lead to misalignment and insufficient edge cutting, resulting in entire rolls being scrapped.
- Primarily for home retail orders: prioritize 2600mm width, maximizing versatility; for bulk engineering curtain wall orders, directly use the 3400mm wide-format line.
- Sheer and lightweight translucent curtains can be separately processed on a 1800/2000 narrow-width machine, without occupying the main wide-width production line.
Quick Selection Reference Table
| Production Type | Recommended Machine Width | Suitable Curtain Fabric Width |
|---|---|---|
| Sample Production + Sheer Curtains (Small Orders) | 1800/2000 mm | 1.4–1.8 m narrow-width fabric |
| Residential Retail Mainstream Mass Production | 2800/3000 mm | 2.6–2.8 m standard width fabric |
| Hotel/Project Full-Width High Curtains | 3200/3400 mm | 3.0–3.2 m original wide-width fabric |
