What is UD Fabric?

UD fabric is a flexible composite material made of ultra-high strength and high modulus polyethylene fibers as the substrate, which are arranged in a unidirectional parallel manner, bonded with thermoplastic resin in impregnating machine, and laminated using a laminating process. It is also known as unidirectional fabric. Its production process includes continuous fibre laying, micro tension adjustment, automatic cutting and other technologies, which have the characteristics of high tensile strength, lightweight, and corrosion resistance. This material is widely used in the field of bulletproof equipment, such as bulletproof vests, bulletproof helmets, and armor plates, and its bulletproof performance is superior to traditional materials.

UD Fabric Production Technology:
