1. The curing of PUR hot melt adhesive requires the participation of moisture, which the adhesive itself cannot provide and can only come from the surrounding environment. Therefore, in Winter, especially in continuous dry and low-temperature weather (such as temperatures below 10℃ and humidity below 50%), it is strongly recommended that users activate the humidification device of the hot melt Pur Laminating Machine to provide sufficient moisture for the curing of the adhesive.
2. In addition to the participation of sufficient moisture, temperature is also an important factor in the curing process of PUR adhesive. Because it is a chemical reaction, the reaction rate is greatly affected by temperature, and the moisture curing of PUR adhesive is precisely a chemical reaction process. When the laminated fabric products are stored in a low-temperature or even sub-zero environment, the curing reaction will be significantly slower compared to spring, Summer, and Autumn, and the required placement (curing) time will be longer.
